William & Adele Dickey

William Dickey was a professor at Oxford College from 1942 to 1959.  His wife, Adele graduated from Wesleyan College and taught in the public schools for many years before becoming the head librarian at Oxford College from 1958 – 1961. 


 Adele served as president of the Delta Kappa Gamma Society and William was an officer in the Kiwanis Club of Covington.  Both were active in Allen Memorial United Methodist Church, William as treasurer and Adele with the United Methodist Women.
