Susanne Stone Eady
1908 - 1987

Susanne Stone Eady, wife of Virgil Y.C. Eady, Sr. former professor and dean of Oxford College, was born in Oxford to Harry Harlan and Susan Bonnell Stone, one of Oxford’s most prominent founding families.  Susanne was a leader in the community for both civic and cultural activities.  A graduate of Agnes Scott College, Susanne Eady worked in the Oxford College Library after Dean Eady retired in 1966 and was active in the Covington Book Club and the Oxford Women’s Club.
